"Moldova 1" is a Moldovan public TV channel. It is part of the TRC "Teleradio-Moldova". It began broadcasting on 30 April 1958 at 19:00. Work to install the on-air broadcasting antenna began in September 1957 and was completed three months later. The Chisinau television tower is 196 meters high.
