Shamshad Radio & Television Network is the first Pashto television channel in Afghanistan. Provision of educational TV programs, news, family dramas, music shows, comedy programs, children's programs, women's empowerment programs, Islamic programs, educational programs, political programs. Shamhad TV is also available in the Middle East, Central, South and West Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia. Shamhad is available locally in Kabul and eastern provinces such as Ningrahar and Konar. It is also broadcast to Kunduz and Mazar and Sharif in northern Afghanistan. The signals are transmitted to Herat, Kandahar, Helmand, Paktia, Ghazni, Khost and other parts of the country. Shamshad produces its own programs such as Roon Sahar, Jor pa Khair (local music), Takkan, Ghazal shpa cooking show inviting various musicians from all over the country, Khaz ao Tolana (a special program for women questioning their life and place of work), Tawda Bahson (daily news program), Deni Larkhowany (inviting Islamic scholars to discuss and solve these problems) and various other programs.
